Wal-Marterade?

Cocacola Anyone who has been reading this blog for a while knows about this big lawsuit with the Coca-Cola bottlers and Coca-Cola. Wal-Mart basically controls everyone they deal with -- even Coke. A while back the big retailer asked Coke to directly ship POWERade to their stores instead of hand deliver to each store as the rest of the Coke system works so that they could cut down on costs. In return, Wal-Mart committed to double its purchase of POWERade and give it more shelf space to compete with Gatorade, which owns 80 percent of the marketplace. But since this arrangement would hurt the bottlers, 60 of them sued Coca-Cola and effectively hurt the talks. Today, some pretty meaty details got out, thanks to Coca-Cola filing a response in U.S. District Court in Atlanta. Coke officials responded by saying that they basically have to do what Wal-Mart says for fear that it will kick them out all together.

"This is precisely what Wal-Mart has done with water sales in its stores where the two largest water products are warehouse delivered and Coca-Cola's and Pepsi's direct-store delivered water brands are left to fight for third place," officials said in the filing.

Amazing the 5 years ago I'd never even heard of bottled water. Now everyone has to have it.

Walmart is working the way they know how. It kind of stinks and me being an anti-union guy somehow see why unions got put in place after reading this about Walmart.

I would like information on where to get an application to work at the Gatorade Plant in Pryor, Oklahoma. From 74-2002 I worked at the same place. I was there 27.4 years (until they closed the doors after voting in the right to work act) and during that time, I missed only FOUR days. I work at the same plant now under new management for over 3 years, and have never missed any at all.
I would love to work for Gatorade Plant, because I believe the pay would be much better, the atmosphere better, benefits would be better, and I just desire a good, clean job where the employees are treated fairly. Thank you so much for your time. I live 13 miles from the new facility.
Sincerely,
George Reed

Please note; I have a great position in Tulsa, Ok with a wonderful business group. I have to quit my job in order to be closer to home. My husband died 5 months ago and I find it hard to take care of her when I am so far away. I am willing to work part time or full time as long as I am home by 4:00 pm. It is hard being a single mom and trying to run a ranch. But I am determined to do just that. I am a hard worker and will be to work each day. Please give me a call 1-918-864-6955 if you are interested in hiring me. I am an Administrative Assistant and have been working as so all my life. I held management positions as well. Please call for my resume. Thank you, Helen Rice.
